Excellent quality for price. There were no defects or spelling mistakes, and the contrast of the black lettering on the silver plate is sharp and easy to read.

As a square dance caller, for many years I've used a sheriff badge (found in the toy department of a big box mega retailer). Whether the participants are youth or adults, the badge conveys a sense of fun and authority.

Misplaced it after a gig, and found the high-end commercial make-your-own badge for law enforcement. Their products are nice...a little too nice for my purposes.

Pieces of History's ""Custom Silver Star Badge"" is just perfect. I had it engraved with my name on the upper ribbon, and DANCE CALLER on the lower. $20 is a very reasonable price for this item. And the turn-time was optimal; I decided to go for it the week of a big event. Needed the badge by Saturday, and it arrived Thursday.
